CV
Edmondo Battista received his Master Science degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Naples "Federico II" in October 2005, with thesis in "Supramolecular Aggregates with Bioactive Peptides for Magnetic Resonance Imaging" performed at IBB of Naples and at INBIOS S.p.A., Napoli, a biotech Company. Actually he is Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at University "Magna Graecia" of Catanzaro, your activity research is mainly focused on the bioactivation of biomaterials for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. In particular he is attending in the complex issues on engineering and validation of peptide-bioactivated tridimensional polymeric matrices.
Facilities Expertise:
HPLC/MS, LCMS, FT-IR, UV/Vis, Fluorescence, Contact Angle, DSC, QCM, AFM.

Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine: scaffolfd bioactivation with peptide by means aminolysis to functionalize polyester surface.
